Well this is interesting xD It's being done by Obsidian (same people that developed Fallout New Vegas). Trey Parker and Matt Stone are going to be actually overlooking it, not just giving the rights.

ok, I just jizzed my pants gosh…
Generals 2 jsut got announced. and its being developed by bioware, with the frostbyte 2 engine.
same people that did baldurs gate, neverwinter nights, dragon age, mass effect, and the old republic.
i just pray that I don't need origin to play this. but yeah, not out til 2013.
