One thing I've heard is that hq armor can recieve better augments that the nq of the same piece. For example, the fast cast+ on a hq3 synth of crimson legs would cap at 3 while a hq3 on blood legs would cap at 5. While i have not personally made any augments yet myself, there does seem to be this trend where +1 items receive better augments.

Qutrubs give some awesome numbers, i remember i got 15k Darkness in Caedarva Mire with Expiacion/Vertical Cleave while getting animating wail. but damn thats a really nice Gob Rush, mine never do that much lol, though i rarely use it with CA.

i still need a wightslayer actually, kind of important to be able to do darkness as well. sure I had one at some point, but must have thrown before it was storable.. ah well.

btw xerx, do you know if theres any solo skillchains on blu that work with zoro?

can make darkness with Benethic Typhoon but thats about it, kinda disappointing. Still do more dmg with CAE Quad than the spell+SC would do. I'm hoping that they will bring out a new heavy hitter that closes a lvl3 next update.

so nothing works with chant then for solo? also i still need expiacion even for benthic typhoon, so even more reason to get i guess. and at least CAE quad would close for ice, which is what most would want to do anyway id assume

EDIT - oh also, which slashing magic makes up the big three at the minute? i know its goblin rush (blunt) and quad (piercing). im using vertical cleave for slashing atm unless theres anything better

there is no bog 3 slashing, Vert is about the best slashing we have atm, big 3 has always only been blunt and piercing. Don't over look Disseverment, it still hits very hard. But yeah CdC>Benethic is pretty fail. BUT now Eddy has a Kannagi, you can close Blade:Hi with Quad to make Darkness.

thats quite nice. i hope by 99 theres a better spell to go with CdC though. and yup i quite like disseverment. will probably only equip vert if i need slashing, or to solo darkness for w/e reason though atm.
