Now I'm not a fanboy but, you just don't hear about shit like this with Nintendo. In terms of security or hardware. No hacks, no Red Rings of Death.
Anyone who is on PSN should look into more info on this, as it's possible that everything on a used credit card besides the security code is compromised too.
Haha, we all have "Anonymous" to thank for giving away Bin Ladens whereabouts. For reals though, I never want to wish anyone harm or death, but it was time for this guy. Maybe we can finally leave Afganistan and stop wasting so much money over there. What I really hope is that this is a turning point for Arab democracy in the middle east. Its amazing what the internet has done to change things over there just in the past year. Hopefully things will continue to get better. You cant hide the truth forever, no matter how hard some people try.
No not the net in finding osama. I'm talking about how the internet has contributed to the revolutions in northern africa. Without the internet those revolutions would never have happened. China still censors the internet in their country because they want to hide shit from their citizens. Just saying shit like that doesnt fly forever and eventually people understand how they're being treated and fight back. Bin Laden was a figure head for terror in the middle east. I just think with him now dead, this is a slow start to democracy in the middle east.
And yes he's fucking dead Gosh. The buried at sea within 24 hours was a burial ceremony. The real question is whether they actually buried his body. I'd be willing to bet they have him in a freezer somewhere and only made that statement to not piss off his people.
I'm actually muslim, not a great one, and I can tell you there's very little call for burial at sea. at most I can believe they didnt want peopel to know where he was buried, so people didnt start treating it as some sort of shrine
but I get what you're saying about internet starting revolutions. It certainly does help with freedom of speech.
but just because we have freedom of speech doesnt mean we know everything.. something that was discussed in MGS2 has always stuck in my mind. Metal Gear Ray wasn't just a physical weapon, it could control and filter all information like some sort of Super Censor.
currently reporters and TV stations are like that. filtering and changing the news to be biased and manipulative, however they please. China is an example outright. My point is, we dont know what happened to Osama, or whether Osama was just a huge red hearring. The information comes from set sources.. and as with the whole Wikileaks situation, information doesnt neccesarily have to be stopped.. but it can be stiffled. The government very clearly tried to put the breaks on wikileaks through severeal dodgy methods.
everything comes down to integrity. If they have some we'll hear the truth, if they have none we won't. We'll never know the truth about anything unless we see it for ourselves because you can only trust youself 100%
